FED: Labor demands more help for soldiers returning from war

Labor's demanding more help for traumatised soldiers returning from war in the Middle
East .. as it again condemned the government for its decision to invade Iraq.

Opposition defence spokesman JOEL FITZGIBBON's told Labor's national conference ..

the government needs to do more to support those who return from active service traumatised
by the experience of modern combat.

Doctors are warning more soldiers may take their own lives .. because of trauma suffered
during their time in the Middle East not being adequately treated.

The government's confirmed to Fairfax newspapers that two soldiers have already committed
suicide after returning from the combat zones.
