2008 World Directory of Manufactured Fiber Producers

The 2008 Edition of the World Directory of Manufactured Fiber Producers (15th edition in the present format and in continuous publication for 33 years) is on sale.

The new edition has been completely revised based on the Fiber Economic Bureau's annual World Survey of Manufactured Fiber Production, Capacity, and Producers (published in the June issue of the Fiber Organon) and on reports from the extensive network of trade contacts the bureau established over the last three decades.

The 2008 edition lists over 1,500 company names and contact details, including website and email addresses, in 70 countries. Listings further include products, plant locations, trade names, etc.

The email listing continues to expand and now includes over 850 email addresses that can provide quick and personal direct access to industry contacts worldwide.

The 2008 edition continues to include the popular introduction section providing a graphic summary of long-term trends in production, by fiber type and region and a worldwide distribution table of manufactured fiber plants by fiber type.

The World Directory's new mailing list feature is included on the CDROM in Excel spreadsheet format.

A key feature of the 2008 edition is the Fiber Cross Index, an essential tool that provides an easy way to crossreference fiber types by country and manufacturer.
