Fed: Inquiry in public plea for more evidence
The judge presiding over the defence force's largest ever inquiry has made a public
plea for more information.
Navy Reserve Commodore KEN TAYLOR says the F-111 fuel maintenance inquiry has uncovered
more than one million documents.
But he says there may still be people who have vital outstanding evidence, or know where it is.
The inquiry is investigating health problems relating to the maintenance process known
as deseal/reseal used at the RAAF's Amberley air base, west of Brisbane.
Early last year former maintenance crew members reported memory loss and other health complaints.
The inquiry is expected to complete its public hearings tomorrow.
